Theo

Theo named after my father is Minnie's brother. He was one of four kittens whose mother was Lottie. He was ill on arrvial with an infection and I was not sure he would make it as he was very weak and not eating. Even today Jeff teases me about this is the one who wasn't going to make it whenever he starts a fight with one of teh other cats! He is a very affectionate feline that looks deeply into your eyes when you speak to him, I think in teh hope of ensuring you mean what you say!

Oscar

Osxcar came from an elderly lady who could no longer care for him. He had had a hard life and in his few years before coming to us and food had often been left outside for him by t

he lady and thus it would be tainted.

Minnie

Minnie was one of four kittens that came to me with their mother Lottie. George!, Theo (after my Dad), Minnie (named by Jeff), and Gismo. George and Gismo were homed and reports from their new homes are that they are such gentle yet playful cats and have settled in so well. Lottie was fortuante to have a home too just across from us with a couple who already had a cat and a dog and many other animals. Lottie settled in well and I heard no more other than  she would go off for a dfay or two but always returned. Sadly, a couple of years ago the woman died following a long illness, her husband told me he how fodn he was of Lottie and I was happy that she continued to have a home. Tragically Lottie was killed in a RTA, which was surprising given where she lived as it was no where near the road and was some distance from her home along teh main road around Arran. I was very sad and when eventualyl I spoke with teh man he too expressed his real sorrow at her loss. She was a particlalry lovely cat and I would have been ahppy to keep her as hse was even more gentle and affectionate than all her kittens. Nevertheless she lives on in her kitens and Minnie expresses her hunting skills and matriarchal position in the household without any animosity but a simple single swipe at anyone who steps outs of line.
